Organizer Terms

These terms apply to event organizers using Ticonus and Stripe Connect payout functionality.

Last updated: February 12, 2026Version: 1.0
This page is part of the platform provider agreement for organizers. It explains how payouts, verification, risk controls, and responsibilities are allocated across Organizer, Platform, and Stripe.

1. Scope and Role

You are the organizer and supplier of your event. You are responsible for event delivery, attendee communication, cancellation handling, and applicable legal obligations for your events.

2. Stripe Connect and KYC

Payouts are facilitated through Stripe Connect. You must complete and maintain required Stripe onboarding, verification, KYC/KYB, and bank account requirements to remain payout-enabled.

Stripe may request additional information at any time. If verification is incomplete or fails, payouts may be delayed, withheld, restricted, or reversed.

3. Platform Actions on Your Behalf

You authorize the platform to perform operational actions related to Connect transactions on your behalf, including payment routing, transfer operations, refund submission, dispute-related updates, and risk/audit logging.

4. Payout Timing and Holds

Payout timing is subject to Stripe verification and risk controls. We may apply organizer-specific controls such as payout delay windows, temporary payout pauses, or additional verification requirements.

The platform does not guarantee specific payout dates. Any displayed dates are estimates and remain subject to Stripe and risk controls.

5. Platform Fees

Platform/service fees are disclosed in organizer and checkout flows. You agree that platform fees may be deducted or otherwise applied according to disclosed pricing and billing configuration.

6. Taxes and Ontario Scope

Ontario-only rollout: events are currently limited to Ontario while product and compliance scope is finalized for additional provinces. You remain responsible for taxes applicable to your ticket sales and event supplies.

Platform tax treatment for platform fees may differ from organizer tax treatment for tickets. Consult your own tax advisor for filing and registration obligations.

7. Refunds and Disputes

Refund requests and disputes can affect balances, reserves, and payout eligibility. You are responsible for cooperating on evidence and event documentation requests related to chargebacks/disputes.

8. Data and Privacy

We process organizer and transaction data as described in our Privacy Policy and for platform operations, risk controls, and compliance records.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date/version.
